Note | Moved to Woodstock in the 1850's (1860?) and then, six or seven years later, moved to Niagara-on-the-Lake as it resembled Kent. There he purchased a farm on River Rd., "Oaklands", and became a gentleman farmer. He continued his medical practice as a consulting surgeon travelling by horse and buggy around the Niagara district. They are both (he and Emily Thomson (RIN 44) buried at St. Mark's cem., Niagara, and Oaklands is now owned by a research institiute after being abandoned for many years. |
